Grab a partner and clean, clean, clean. Our WASC visit starts on Sunday, the WASC visiting committee will visit starting Monday morning and the room is a mess! All loose papers and trash needs to be recycled as necessary. Surfaces need to be cleaned and/or dusted. Excess newspapers need to go to the recycling bin. If everyone chips in, it will only take a few minutes!
Since the book is finished, you will have a QUARTER PROJECT this term. You will be given instructions. Since you are required to use InDesign for the completion of this project, you should be working in class every day. Not all days are designated work days, some will be for additional instruction, so you will need to plan accordingly. You will be given the project packet with instructions today. You are to begin work immediately.
It's field trip time! Yes, you read that correctly. If you are interested in visiting the offices of VegNews in San Francisco, then this is the trip for you! You don't have to be a vegetarian to enjoy the trip. This is about magazine production. We will be taking BART to their offices; tickets will be ordered Monday. The trip is May 18. There are 10 spots for interested students. If you are interested, please take one of the YEARBOOK STAFF permission slips on the black table (check to make sure you have the correct slip) and bring it back ASAP.
