What's Happening: 1.31.11

Project: This is an individual assignment. It will be on paper (8 1/2x11 or 11x17). If you have a Glogster account, you may make your poster in Glogster, then print. InDesign is encouraged as your design platform. The assignment: Read "The Seven Deadly Sins of Student Writers." Pick one of the "deadly sins" and make a poster to help students remember not to commit that sin in their writing. The use of humor is encouraged (think a la The Oatmeal, but appropriate for the classroom).  Yes, the instructions are deliberately loose. I want you to be creative in helping your classmates become better writers. Due date: Friday, February 4 no later than 1:15 p.m.

No access to the room at lunch today. Make plans accordingly.

For those of you who are working on pages, worknight is optional, but encouraged this Friday!

What's Happening: 1.21.11

Almost there! Keep working on those spreads today. You should be in at lunch and after school finishing up.

As of Wednesday afternoon, ALL of you are allowed to leave the cafeteria at lunch to come to the room to work. Just tell whoever is at the door that you're going to Ms. Wojinski's room. They have a list with your name on it.

Remember: Finish today, get donuts Tuesday!
